The first live event with real people for us in 2021- under a marquee in the garden of this fine pub, with all possible Covid-19 safety procedures in place including table service and a one-way system for the toilets. Needless to say it was quite a strange feeling to be singing to real people and not screens. The evening was organised by Liz under the auspices of Bury Folk Collective so it was doubly enjoyable to be able to sing to a number of our ‘long-lost’ friends from the Collective who we had not seen for quite a while.
